Christmas has been celebrated within the 'Singh household' since I first arrived in the UK with my wonderful wife back in 1972. It took on further meaning for us upon the arrival of our 3 great children and then their children.
For me, it marks a point in the year where ties within the family and with our close friends can be strengthened with good food, good banter and the exchange of gifts. It is an opportunity for us to consider those who are a less fortunate than us and do what we can for them through selfless charitable gestures. It is also an opportunity for us to allow the pressures and strains of day-to-day life to dissipate and renew our optimism for the future.
It is with these thoughts in mind that I wish you all a fantastic Christmas Day and all the best in seasonal cheer.
Warm regards,
Gurcharan
