The new library and medical centre at Jubilee Gardens are nearing completion. This development project, spearheaded by the local Conservative council (and hotly opposed by Labour councillors) is due for completion in early 2010. The arrival of which, will provide top-of-the-range health and educational facilities to local residents. The total cost of the project has been £1.5m.
