As many of you may already know (since you were there), we went on a campaign walk this afternoon through Southall. The turnout was absolutely fantastic - with well over 200 in attendance.
We started at the Southall Community Centre where short speaches were given by:
...
- Mary McLoud (Brentford & Isleworth
- Mark Bowen (Feltham & Heston)
- Gurmail Singh Malhi (Prominent Voice within the Sikh Community)
- Harjit Singh (Vice Presedent of Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara)
- Ranbir Singh Suri (Chairman of the British Asian Conservative Link)
- Jassi Khangura (Member of the Legaslative Assembly Punjab)
Later, we were joined by Jason Stacey, the Leader of the Council.

Along the journey, we joined by a number of passers by all showing support. Speeches were given along the route too. It all really hit home the message that Southall is ready to make a break from Labour. We've still got a very large challenge ahead of us so we need must get out and campaign harder than ever.
Let your friends, family and loved ones know, Southall needs you to make a difference on 6th May!
